Become a Volunteer

While we are thrilled that you selected us to continue in our mission of building meaningful relationships, there are a few things that are required prior to volunteering to help protect our community against the COVID-19 virus and to further ensure the safety of our beloved residents.

Requirements if you are not able to provide proof of vaccination:

• Looking to build meaningful relationships only for a brief period: A Rapid Covid-19 Test will be required.
• Looking to build meaningful relationships on a regular basis: A one-time Covid-19 PCR Test will be required.

All tests will be provided by the community.

In the event of an emergency, who should be contacted?

As a Volunteer, you release The Social at Savannah of all claims from injuries sustained due to your negligence.

Guidelines

• All visitors of the community must be COVID assessed upon entering the community. Masks may be required as a part of our covid-responsible plan.
• Long term volunteers will be required to undergo a fingerprint background check via the Georgia Criminal History Check System (GCHEXS) at no cost to the volunteer.
• Long term volunteers at other Thrive communities located outside the State of Georgia, will be required to undergo a standard criminal background check through Thrive’s vendor (ESS) at no cost to the volunteer.
• Long term volunteers that will be operating a Thrive company vehicle, will be required to provide a copy of their driver’s license and a motor vehicle report (MVR) will be obtained at no cost to the volunteer.
• All volunteers are subject to the communities’ house rules (volunteers will receive a copy of house rules prior to their first day).
• The CBD will confidentially retain this information on file for records and purposes along with any supporting documentation. Please reach out if any changes apply to this application.
